Our Goal
Françoise and Pascale are happy to welcome you to the Casa della Grofica in order to share with you their feeling on Istria. Small jewels of Croatia, Istria is full of wonders, both of its gastronomy, its beaches, its forests, its festivals... as well as the kindness of its habitants. Difficult to resist ! It is in any case that we have restored the nobility to this typical Istrian house of the XIX century to make it peaceful and authentic place that will bring you enchantment.
We invite you to discover two spacious rooms baptized Poreč and Rovinj, subtly appointed for people with reduced or limited mobility. The Tinjan room and the Stalića private house.
Our guest house
The Casa della Grofica wishes to welcome you in a warm and friendly atmosphere, and offers you an environment conducive to relaxation. Creative workshop, reading space, television area, swimming pool... are all assets for your well-being. All these good moments of relaxation can be accompanied by hot drinks in sel-service.
You can enjoy your gourmet breakfast, or any other tasting time in the dining room or on the outdoor terraces for your comfort.
Françoise and Pascale schedule two days a week of excursions to discover the region, subject to conditions and availibility.
In the heart of the Istrian countryside
Istria, a peninsula in the North-West of Croatia, is said yo have the most beautiful blue sky in Europe and wonderful sunsets. It welcomes you with its idyllic coves of the Adriatic, its seaside resorts ans its cultural wealth.
In the heart of the acacias forest, our house located 15 mn from Poreč is surrounded by all major places such as Motovun, Groznjan, Lim Fjord, Rovinj, Pula...
The wine route with its famous grape varieties Teran and Malvoisie, the olive oil of Vodjnan recognized as one of the best in the world, without forgetting the nugget of Istria ... the truffle, are reflection of the immense gastronomic heritage of the region.
